The City of Kota Kinabalu, is the state capital of Sabah (land below the wind) in East Malaysia. Kota Kinabalu also being abbreviated to "KK" by the locals.

The location of KK is only a couple of hours drive away from the Kinabalu National Park, which has the main attraction of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in the South East Asia.
